In order to have the best possible soy candle experience, and to prevent injury or loss, please follow
these easy instructions when burning your soy candles.

  • Place candles on a flat, level, heat resistant surface.

  • Keep candles away from children, pets, bedding, and any flammable materials

  • Always burn candles in a room with that is well ventilated.

  • Do not drop foreign objects, wick trimmings, or matches into the wax pool.

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.

  • Use caution when extinguishing candle.

  • Candle and glass become hot during burning, so handle with caution.

  • Please burn no longer than 3 hours at a time or until the wax pool has completely melted.

  • Keep burning candles away from drafts,  vents, and other airflow.

  • If candle smokes, flame is too high, or candle flickers repeatedly, extinguish the candle. Let it cool and  then trim
    the wick to 1/8”.

  • Do not allow your flame to touch the side of the candle’s container.


Candles must be burned away from drafts and on a stable heat resistant surface.  Do not allow any moisture to mix with
the wax as this will result in popping and splattering of the wax. The Candle Apothecary is not responsible for any
damage resulting from the misuse of our products.  The care and burning of your candle is the consumer’s
responsibility. Please burn with care. The Candle Apothecary is not responsible for any damage, injury, or loss of any kind
due to your use of any products purchased from our company.  Our maximum liability to the consumer is the amount that
was paid for the product. Your purchase from the Candle Apothecary signifies your acceptance of this policy. Every
candle comes with a warning label attached to the bottom of each jar. We strongly encourage you to read this warning
label. Do not remove the warning label from your candle at any time.
